friend of mine mounted a 205 65 16 pirelli four season tire on his valk today, and let me take it for a trial run. I would like to think my 40 years of riding have honed my senses  to the pont where I can detect the slightest differences in handling characteristics, but it seems that 30 plus years of operating heavy equipment has deadened my senses. I could tell no difference at all. in the turns I kept waiting for the dreaded transition  but it never  came. we set the air pressure at 36 psi, and will probably work our way down from there.  I can report that if you want more ground clearance, the 65 series is the way to go. I just put a new e3 on my valk, but my next tire will probably be a car tire.

Muhahahahahaahah!!!! (evil laugh)  welcome to the dark side.

Seriously, the only place I feel a real difference is when im down grinding pegs in a curve.  The wide car tire takes just a touch more steering pressure than the bike tire did.  Ride it again and then slap the back brake down and do a stop from about 55mph as fast as ya can with only the back brake.  It really holds on.  Then do it again and use BOTH brakes, but hang on Smiley
