Off hand low speed higher revs in the city or if it's running lean the pipes may blue a bit.

bluing is caused by heat. the valk has double wall headers which helps prevent bluing, but sometimes exhaust heat gets the better of them. most after market pipes are single wall, and will blue rather quickly. ,like storm said, running lean will cause it, among other things.

When was the last valve adjustment?
The bike really wakes up when the valves are adjusted properly.
Running lean can kill an engine.
Just a thought.

Normally blueing is a lean condition with stock pipes. While your Valk runs great on 87 octane fuel if you move up into a higher octane the exhaust will run cooler and won't blue the stock pipes. At the current price of gas you may want to live with the blueing
