I don't know if this has been done before, but I've posted the Darkside Legend on the Mythbusters suggestion forum.

I read the initial remarks... im gonna have to register on their site and weigh in on this

I see what you guys mean when you talk about the irrational reaction people have regarding the Darkside Mod. There is a thread on the Mythbusters website HERE that was started back in January on this same subject. The pro side, for the most part, tries to discuss this with their personal experience, while the "you're going to die a flaming death" side rales about what a bunch of idiots the Darksiders are.

Sheesh.

How about someone taking an unbiased rational look at this?

Yea I saw that reaction too. I tried to relate my experiences as clearly over there as I could without trying to shove it down anyones throat. I hope my posts didnt come across that way. I did want to show that there were ppl with experience with it though and I thought it might perhaps lend to your test suggestion being taken seriously instead of being dismissed out of hand.

I attended a PGR mission last Friday and three people came up to me and told me they had put car tires on their bikes (none were Valkryies) because they saw me with one. They all loved being on the "bright side" and the tires looked great.

Are we "test pilots", maybe, but, I think the "testing" has been completed and the usefullness is beginning to show.

My attitude is if you like it, do it, if not, don't and who cares. The passion wasted on this subject could have won the war on terror.
