Hello Everyone

I have just purchased my first Valk.  I flew out to Alabama from Oklahoma last weekend and purchased this beautiful black and gold Interstate with only 15 k and rode it home. I am very impressed with this bike.  I am trying to sell my 01 Boss Hoss 350/385 and was wanting another big bike.  I am 6'4" and 300lbs and need a big un. The bike handles and rides like a dream and after the 1160 mile trip home I think I am really going to like this new ride of mine.  I have a big list of things that I am going to add to the bike like cruise and more.  However, one thing I haven't been able to find is the saddlebag lid bra covers.  Can anybody point me in the right direction?
I have been able to find most everything else but these and maybe a nice set of forward controls for these long legs of mine.

Thanks

Terry

Welcome to the site Terry! Going from a Boss Hoss to a Valk is an interesting move. How do the two bikes compare? I live close to Dyersberg, TN where they make the Boss Hoss's.

Welcome to the board.

Your pretty much out of luck looking for forward controls.
I imagine the large valve covers sticking out in front is the reason why, especially when they sit low to the ground.
Your best bet is some Kuryakyn boards on the engine guards.

Wingstuff carries a nice selection of accessories for a good price.

Forward controls are available from Big Bike things in New Zealand.  They ship pretty fast though, here is the web site http://www.bigbikethings.com/.

Don
I love my Boss and would never sell it unless financial conditions didn't dictate.  There is no substitute for horsepower and cubic inches.  The Boss is in a class all its own but since I am having to sell it, I wanted and needed a big bike.  I am 6'4" and 300 lbs. and make most bikes look small.  The Interstate is the next best thing and it was under 10k and not 35k.  I looked really hard at the Rocket III and thought I was going to go that direction but found that there were some problems with it that took it out of the picture.  The Valk is pretty much bullet proof and its big and powerful.  I have a few friends that ride Valks and all have had good luck with them.  I'm not really a biker, but more of a motorcycle enthusiast and the whole HD thing just doesn't fit me or my life style.
But to answer your question, the Valk rides better and handles better, but when you buy a Boss, you aren't looking at any of that kind of stuff.  You buy a Boss because you can and because you are making a statement about who you are and look at me,  I ride a 350 V8 with 385HP and 150hp shot of NOS and that is just the entry level Boss.  I hope that one day I will have another chance to own another one.  But for now the Valk Interstate is a very nice substitute.  I hope to turn mine into a nice super Valk before its over.

I've been looking for forward controls for a while.
How come I've never seen that link before?
 Huh?

Any idea how much to ship to the U.S?

I ordered a set of fork deflectors from them. Very nice people to deal with and fast shipping. I sent an email asking about freight charges and they answered that it was already included in their prices. Never got charged for the freight.
