My 205/65/16 Pirelli 4 seasons just came in, looking for a shop or some qualified help to mount/balance it. Hopefully this week - planning a ride to Canada on Friday. TIA.

Any bike shop should be able to handle the mounting and balancing.
I was worried originally, but I just chose the shop that offered the quickest turn around.
They were amazed how easy the tire mounted on the valk rim.

from what I hear most shops won't mount a car tire on a bike. I'll check with a few places tomorrow.

My local tire shop (car tires) mounts any tire I want on my Valkyrie rims for $5 each.

hmmm, not a bad idea. I did find a couple of cycle shops that will swap the tire if I bring them the rear wheel only. and sign a waiver. maybe a car tire shop is the way to go. will check that out.

A local snooty chopper shop said okay, we'll do it, not gonna be cheap and will take a couple of days. WOW! That's a start. But I didn't have the time to wait around and also seemed a bit pricy.

So I went to several local car tire shops in MD and VA. The answer was no.

I also went to a couple of local MD and VA bike shops and the answer was no.

Dang it! I was super close to buying tire irons and other parafernalia like balancing stand and having it overnighted to me.

And then I stumbled across these awesome guys in Sterling, VA - called RNR. 20 minutes and $30 later I was on my way with a newly mounted and balanced darkside tire. The shop dudes were like - heck yeah, ride safe!

So thrilled! Putting some of the bike back tonight and finishing the rest tomorrow morning. Planning on doing my first ride tomorrow afternoon and then off to Canada for the weekend.
