If you haven't settled on a tire yet, I drove my car w/a set of Michilen Primacy through some blinding rain recently, and it was almost like the water wasn't there.

I've got one on my bike, and like what I've experienced so far.

I'm considering heading up that way in the fall if the wife and I can get a sufficient amount of time off and still have someone watch the kid.  I'll give you a yell on here when we get something figured out.  I love me some Blue Ridge Parkway, but I can't stand the tourists and leaf lookers that insist on going 35mph thw whole time. Seems to me that pretty much all the car tires are the ticket.  Everyone runs something different and everyone is still very happy with them.  I know I'm happy as can be.  I still can't believe how much better the tire grips in the twisties.

Willness, now if you like the twisties.... we could head over to "The Snake".   However, we dont want to ride that on the weekend.  Need a good tuesday afternoon or something for that.  While its quiet over there.

Oh, btw, here is my favorite Darkside tire.  Its what I run, but be warned, its a soft sticky tire and it eats up about as fast as a bike tire.  I like the contact patch for it and the nicely rounded edges.

Now that's a nice looking tire.  Yeah, I like the twisties a lot.  I feel that I'm a fairly aggressive rider as the big bikes go.  Whippin the big girl through hills makes me  Grin.

Weather permitting, I am looking to perhaps do some mountain riding this Sunday if your up for it.  I want to get my Valk put back together, but if I dont get the time to do that then I plan on taking the Wing.

As much as I'd absolutely love to, my personal life and schedule needs more notice than that.  With a 5yo and no one around to watch her but my wife (ain't no way she'd let me go without her), it's tough to pull off without planning in advance.  Trust me, I'm looking forward to contacting you for a nice, twisty ride this fall.
