Here's mine, it's a 1988 and is both a ragtop and hardtop. This is with the hardtop on, I enjoy the car but it can be a PITA to keep running!

What year is the Mustang? I had a '66...definitely not a show car, but fun to drive and work on. I bought it for $700 when I was 15 and my dad and I re-built most of it over the next year or so in the back yard...we didn't even have a garage. We replaced both rear quarters, door skins, fenders and floor pans...even replaced the left front frame rail. And everything was welded up with an acetelene torch...no mig, tig, or even an arc welder. We even painted it outside and it came out suprisingly good. It had a 6cyl with a 3speed. Not the fastest car in the world with a top speed of about 85mph due to gearing. That motor was screaming at that speed. But it had a ton of torque and could smoke the tires in first and chirp 2nd. I sure wish I had some pictures of it.

It also is a 1966, deluxe coupe, 6 banger, automatic. Interestingly enough the origional owner was my mother, I got it from her when she stopped driving. Always garaged, maintained by my dad, and later by me when he passed. She drove it for 30 years, I've had it for the last ten. It has never been restored, just maintained well. Still runs like a clock with 148 thousand miles on it. I overhauled the engine and trans last winter, cost more than the new price of the car, but well worth it. It will stay with me as long as my valkyrie, which is to the end. Hoser

These are two of my additional money-pits. First is a 66 Mustang GT convertible with a K-code engine, pony interior, auto. The other is a GENUINE 69 Charger R/T SE with a 440 and 727. No tic-toc tach, but most everything else. Both show you what muscle from the 60s could do, not to good in the twisties though!

Mine is a tweeked 2002 Z28. My last 2 trips up through the Tenn mountains was one on the Black Valk and the other was in the Black Z28. Fun factor was way high on both trips.

It would be one of these. 1971 Hemi 'cuda in black. Never liked the factory gaudy color schemes.
