Somewhere over the rainbow....

« on: February 20, 2009, 11:50:09 AM »

I'd like to acquire a set of engine hangers for my I/S. I see that valkyriblingandmore has a four piece set for sale that's really nice....but another $170 for "safety chrome" isn't going to fly with the wife. Anyone have a piece or two that they don't need. I don't want it for free, just need a deal. I don't know if anyone's interested in computer stuff, but I've got a bunch I could trade. Scanner, photo printer, 21" LCD monitor, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. Let me know.

You'll get the same one I got. Hopnel discontinued these a few years back and the remaining are NOS. I searched everywhere for these when I bought mine. They are NOT easy to find. Your camera will fit perfectly. The thing they don't tell you about these that I found out and love is that the little bag is on a quick release. You just twist it 90 degrees in either direction and it releases from it connector. That way you can take it with you if there's something in it you don't want to leave on the bike. The bag is pretty deep, so if your camera has a wrist strap on it you would want to hang it out the top. Now if you come to town I can identify you by your tank bib.

I'm looking forward to it.  I'll bet it makes for nice camping. I've been looking into the local christian bikers group at my church. I haven't been to a meet yet. Is their a CMA group that you see here in Idaho or work with?
I like the pipes on your valk. The little trailer is nice too. You just need a little 7" DVD player, cellphone and ipod mount on the front there and you'll be set!

I'll be in Hawaii, flying home the 24th. I go back to work Monday the 25th, but I work noon to 9. Will you still be in the area?
