The only issue I encountered on my trip was a minor rub on the right side of the tire, bearly noticable.  The problem was, the shocks were riding to low.. one quick adjustment and problem was resolved..

I just returned from a 600 mile trek fom my house in East Texas to Mena Arkansas and came back by way of Oklahoma.. My Yoko Tire preformed as expected.. took those winding roads as if I had a M/C tire.. I felt no difference.. Like Dag says, the only time you know when you have a C/T  is when you drive slow.  But who drives a dragon slow..  Safe riding to all fellow Dragon Riders!!

hmm, i'm from western colorado, and even i have been to mena, ar. but i'm CMA.

I, for the most part don't have a lot of time to just get on the bike and ride. The kind of work I do sometimes is demanding. This trip for me and my wife was a get away to gain perspective.. (relaxing trip).  I don't have the luxury of just taking off on a whim..  I work for a living.. If I sounded like a kid with a new toy.. Sorry to have bothered you.. But to me and my wife. It was quality time..

I may be wrong, but I don't think he was slighting you at all. Mena is near the national headquarters of the CMA is all.

hmm, I'm from western colorado, ((((((and even i have been to mena, ar.))))))) but i'm CMA

It sounded to me that all riders have all been there..I read it as, it is not a big deal..  I did not mean to make it sound that I was exclusive to this location, just to hear some feed back with those who have been there and see if their experience was as pleasant as mine.  After all, aren't we all in a special interest group?  (((VALKYRIE'S)))  Just wanted to share my experience that others have already had.  I am not upset, just wanted to contribute.

Rodeo, you might find it easier to have know that you are just playing by putting a smiley face in  Grin Since there is no voice tone in writing, this needs to be done so folks can know what your intentions are.
Javi,
keep posting and sharing. Mena is a great area in which to ride. Back in the early 80s, when CMA was still being run out of Herb Shreve's house, I spent a ton of time over there in that area. We did a lot of miles on the area roads. (his wife also introduced me to chocolate gravy and biscuits for breakfast!!)

Smiley Valker, thanks for your response. I may have taken things a little out of context.  thanks for the clarification, and I am sure that's all that it was.. No hard feelings here and if I stepped on someones toes,, I did not intend to do that.  My whole intent was to clear the air.  Valker, you are correct, words do not have any voice inflection, so I will be the one to say I misunderstood the statement that started the whole situation as a learning experience..

Mena, just north of Hatfield.....:-)
It is easier to find if you go south from Ft. Smith a bit. The Talimena Skyline Drive in Oklahoma ends at Mena on the eastern end.

And if you go west from Ft. Smith and then south on hwy. 59 you come to Wild Horse Mountain barbecue near Sallisaw, OK.  Pretty good food if your in that area.
