since the darkside tire review site, "totally pissed off" seems to be dead, how about we compile our own list, including motorcycle front tires. we could list the brand, what pressure we run, how many miles we get out of a tire, and a review of how well it handles?

I get my DS info here:

I have an Alitmax that I'll put on  next month. Just want to get some more km on my Cobra before making the switch.

just installed my altima today. it feels like a motorcycle tire to me. my friend with a valk tried it and he said the same thing. long term testing might alter my view, but for now, I am very happy with it. not happy with the dealer though. dealer installed my last set of tires, and I had to use a 2' breaker bar with a 2' cheater pipe just to loosen the axle bolt. found a shop in town to mount the tire for me, 16.00. I am running 32psi

now all I need is a new front tire, and I will be set. might have another 1,000 miles left, which will take it to 8,000 miles. gonna have to check into darksiding the front Grin

I have settled on 40 psi for the general altimax, that is the pressure reccomended at the cartires for motorcycles forum . so far I am very happy with this tire. this is a very light weight tire, I believe it is lighter than the E3 I took off.

went for a ride with my wife on the back, and her description of the way it feels is " solid" the dunlops always felt like they were going to slide out in the turns, and they would move around on tar snakes and patches, sand in the road would always raise my pucker factor. not with the general altimax. the only downside I can see with this tire is my fuel mileage is probably going to go down because I am riding harder.  I honestly couldn't tell at first that this wasn't a motorcycle tire, but after riding it harder in the twisties, I am able to tell the difference, and the difference is good. my  wife calls the ride, solid, and my son in law, after riding it, said it was lighter steering. those two statements didn't seem to match, until I thought about it while riding in the turns. the dunlop e3 would fall into a turn, and you had to pull it back up, while the car tire takes a slight pressure on the bars to lean, so slight in fact, that I didn't realize I was doing it, and neither did my son in law. to come back up, you just quit applying pressure to the bar, and the bike comes back up on its own. the faster I took a turn, the more I noticed this, which is why I probably didn't notice it at first since I was taking it pretty easy, testing the water , so to speak. this is why it feels more solid, and yet also feels lighter steering in the curves. I have yet to find any negative effects  with this tire.  If this is what the darkside is all about, I will not be going back to a motorcycle tire
