A friend of mine with a valk, who is also running the darkside, and I, were discussing our rides, and we both agree that we are faster than we were with motorcycle tires. don't know if it actually handles better or not, but our confidence level is way up. regardless, we both agree we are faster on the darkside.

dittos - with the addition of the dial-a-jets, I recently found myself doing 90 before I realized what was going on!  shocked

I take corners harder with more confidence than I did before as well.

For me, I have found several advantages and disadvantages to both bike tires and car tires. I like parts of both, and dislike parts of both. I guess that's why I have two wheels with one of each mounted.

Grin  I just recently finished attending our Blue Knights rally in Tyler Texas.  I did get lots of look see's on my C/T.  Received mixed feed back.  While at the rally, we had some bad weather (rain!!)  anyway,  I had to leave early to attend a previous commitment,  By the time  I was ready to head back,  there came what a seemed to be a typhoon.  Here I was driving in the rain, first time on a C/T in the rain.  Bottom line, I never had any problems with the dark side tire, handled great.  At one point, I even tried to do a burn out at a stop light just to see how much traction I really do have.  Only thing that happend was my front tire began to slide..   YEA!!!  Dark Side!!!!
