Stealing post again:
ah !  susanville, the very nicest part of calif. no need to get in a toot up there, pretty laid back the last time i visited it.

i am a northern cally fan myself. i have a boy in lincoln, a best friend in lincoln, a cousin in both novato and pacifica. i was stationed at moffet field at mt. view while in the service.

i'd live out there, but having a robot from the future for governor scares me !

The Robot and CA politics in general scares the heck out of me.  Thats why there is a For Sale sign on my front lawn.  Love the country and town I live in, but its in CA.  Now that I am retired, its time to get out.

Back to original post, I understand Baker Wings will help move some of the radiator heat off the rider.  I have a I/S model, so most of the heat is not blowing on me when the fan is working.  Pretty much any Bike heats up the rider sitting at a long Light or in very slow moving CA traffic.   AND again the Valk is a bigger bike, not suited to Lane Splitting.

One major reason why California is in such a mess is because its initiative process allows voters to approve huge spending programs and place limits on their tax rates. When you can order hundreds of billions in spending over the last 20 years and at the same time tell the state they can't raise taxes to pay for it - eventually the schnit is going to hit the fan so love or hate the Govenator, alot of this mess is out of his hands.
Now back to the complaints of feeling too much heat by straddling a 1500 cc engine when it's 95 degrees outside....
