I went for a haul yesterday, 170 mile loop from home through Algonquin Park it was sunny to overcast and 14-C so almost perfect weather. Lots of 905er's taking pics of wildlife and leaves and driving 60km, this bike passes cars well and passes slow cars without thinking about it. I did forget to take the camera  Angry would have been nice to get some pics with the fall colours as background. Hope to get out again Sun but like you Taz too much rain lately to enjoy the quickly passing fall.

TAZ, same here in southern WI as seeing you are only about 3 hours south of me.  I looked at the extended forecast and looks like next day over 50 and sunny is possibly next Wednesday.  Lows in the 20's and highs in the mid 40's cloudy, windy, and wet is more like mid November, not early to mid October.  Hope this is not more things to come, but like TrickyD said in the Dells, we usually have a few days in November getting an Indian summer - let's hope it is more than a few days and more like 2 weeks in November.  Cancelled my ATV plans in Jackson County WI this weekend since windy/wet/colder below freezing at night and the trails close this coming Thursday and the kids are in school.  I'm getting the blues also.

I will trade you!  We are at 20, with 30mph winds.  To be that way until Monday, then warm up to 30!

We are having 70 degree temps, sunny, no wind.  But guess what folks, there is a storm, wet type to hit us on Tuesday/Wednesday.  Which means you folks east of us will be getting wet again come Thursday/Saturday.

I will think about you when I head out tomorrow to enjoy the temps.

Teaching a Safety class this weekend. Highs in the 30s with 30-40 mph winds. Possible freezing drizzle Sunday morning. Looks like i should have fun. Oh, BTW, it is 65 miles to the site for me. Might be chilly at 6 AM tomorrow.

Spitting snow for an hour or two nothing collecting, but high of 41 and very windy and cold today.  Unreal for October 10th and usually does not get this cold continously at night like it will the next 3-4 nights below 32 degrees until mid November here in southern WI.  It is suppose to be averaging low 60's instead of low 40's for highs.  Hope this is not things to come for this winter.  Southern WI actually has been having more snow in winter the last 2 years than northern WI which is very weird and not normal.  After the hard frost last night and the high winds today, the leaves really came down this afternoon and if this continues like it sounds like it is going to, there will not be many leaves left on the trees for fall color viewing so early in the year.
