Here is what TrickyD just wrote me on his surgery.....Great to Hear.

Surgery went fine. Went into the OR at 11:30 and was home by 2:30. Foot wasn't  quite as bad as Doc originally thought. Main tendon wasn't completely severed. It had a bone sliver or fragment embedded in the end of the tendon. The tendon had totally encapsilated that piece of bone over several years, creating a good size bulge. Have a 3 PM Monday appointment with him , should find out more then. Was still pretty groggy when he told me yesterday. Can't put any weight on it till he gives the word, didn't cast it but put me in a knee high rigid boot. When it recovers enough will have several weeks of physical therapy for range of motion. Had a rough night, no sleep and at least a dozen nasty cramps on the side of the foot. Hope for some sleep tonight.

Well listen to the doc and Nurse Kathy and take your pain killers for some relief and you"ll be good again in no time TrickyD!  Better stay off the Vault Zero too as it will get you all cranked up with nowhere to go.

Glad that you're on the mend, Tricky. Get healed up quick, buddy.

Thanks for the update, TAZ.

Very good news indeed!
TrickyD - I'm sure it is hard for you not to walk around, but don't push it too soon to put your full weight on the ankle.  Be patient and in no time, you'll be snowmobiling later in the winter season and running your Valkyrie around come spring. Best of luck and enjoy Xmas and the New Year.

Heal up fast, TrickyD!  And listen to nurse Kathy, she KNOWS what is good for you!  I know you will push getting on it, but just be patient.  You do not want to do it again!
