It is with sorrow heart that I report that good ole TrickyD's Dad is on his last stand in life and will be passing on soon.   His cancer has gotten to the point were he does not want to fight it anymore.  Vet of WW2 and has been a pillar in the family for years, enjoying motorcycles, camping, getting together with former army vets for all their reunions and having a loving family to look over him.   Dick's family is doing around the clock watch on him and celebrating his life while he is still with them which is the best way to go out.  Please pray for the family and his Dad in these times of stress as they all help.    Thanks

+1 here also!

My dad passed early morning after Xmas night in 2008 while visiting him in the hospital for Christmas.  Very tough indeed to see him take his last breath and one of the hardest things I will ever go through in life.  I still get chocked up over it to this day.

Remember the good times!!!

take care TrickyD and family!

My thoughts and prayers are with you TrickyD.  I went through the same thing with both of my parents in the past 5 years.

All our best to Dick and Kathy from ND.  You were telling me about him at PDC Dick, and I am sending my best for all of you.  God bless you and yours.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. We pray that the LORD above will take him soon to reunite with his Mable Lou in the next life. The family really appreciates your thoughtfulness and prayers and we have 86 years of incredible memories and adventures to help us through this most difficult time. Again, thank you all so much as it is deeply appreciated and furthers my belief in what a wonderful family the VOAI is to us!         The Trulson Family!!!!

Dick,   I know how much your Dad means to you and it is with a sorrowed heart that he will soon be gone from here.   His memories will last with you forever as does your Mom and that is what is so great, they will be in you heart forever.  Though gone from here per say they will be with you forever and continue to make your world around you be a great place to be and be with you in Valhalla later on.  They know they have great family members remembering them and will be most appreciative of  your families kindness forever.  You have a great family both loving and caring I have to say.

I lost my dad three years ago. His 80th birthday would have been March 30.  We farmed together for ever!  Spent most of every day together for most of my life. He was my best friend, and I still miss him.

I know what you are going thru.  His was not cancer, but he went slow anyway.  I think fast is better, but that is my opinion.

My prayers are with you all.

God bless.
