Why don't you just keep it for your new Interstate when your front tire wears out if it is 1/2 shot already, or is the front tire on your new ride almost new?  I would think as long as you keep the tire in a normal temperature area like your basement/house stored properly, it should keep in dry storage for the next 2-3 years and still have 3-4 years of useful new life. For 80 bucks though, cannot go wrong.

I have brand new Avon Cobras on my Interstate and don't want to bother with crossing brands at some point. Plus, my front tires never seem to wear out (nearly 20K on my Metzler front on my standard) and I didn't want the tire sitting around forever. And if Rick can use, great!
