I was watching this on eBay and was wondering if anyone here bought it. I asked the seller three separate times to send an actual picture instead of using the Honda catalog photo they used. All the other auctions from this seller had actual photos except this one. Just curious if anyone here ended up with it.

Thank You,

I was watching it, but the price went way higher than I would have paid for a backup antenna. I guess if it is new in the package, it would have been fine. You never know though...

I didn't bid because the seller didn't respond to my request for an actual picture of the antenna. Likely it was a legit auction, but they scared me away from placing a bid.

All the best,

Mark

Yes if there is no reply you go with your gut instinct and walk away more often than not

I bought my current Valk and my trailer and the bmw 1150rt-p thru ebay

The Valk and trailer were also for sale locally and I ended up meeting the buyer to eyeball the goods before handing over cash

One day I will probably get a CB for the Valk, just hard to justify the great cost for something I would only use a week a year

I picked up one of the Yamaha Venture CB's and installed it under the seat. Just took a couple of hours and it's plug and play with our controls. Mucho cheaper than a Valk CB.

I'd heard of people doing this, but had never met someone that actually used the Venture CB. A friend of mine is looking for a CB for his IS, I'll pass this on to him.

Had to cut out part of the box to fit it in and lengthen the power wires but it works great after almost a year.
