Nevermind, after re-reading your post you're looking for the cb radio mount, not the cb antenna mount.

I think someone could do well remaking the Interstate cb antenna mount. Someone with access to a mill and a few billets of aluminum or steel. I too was looking for a cb antenna mount. I ended up getting the entire cb set up. It took a few months of looking but Mike at Valkyrie Bling & More, eBay and the Valk forums are your friend. MP has an entire set up for sale right here, right now. I also ended up with a second cb (radio unit) and mount minus the spacers. The cb mount spacers can easily be made if needed though. Not sure about the cb noise filter that should go in series with the radiator fan. Not sure how hard those noise filters are to find or to make.

You can modify a GL1200 cb antenna mount to fit the Valk as well. Just be sure you get the correct side or the cb antenna will be canted forward, not slightly backward. In my Valkyrie cb antenna mount search I easily found 10 cb radios for every 1 cb antenna mount. Seems strange as Honda likely made them in similar numbers. Perhaps when Interstates are parted or scrapped out the cb antenna mount bracket got lost in the mix. In any event, the Interstate was only a 3 model year bike and Honda seemingly sold very few cb kits for them.

All the best,

Mark

There is space under the seat to put the cb, if you cannot find a mount for under the trunk. Or, use some pieces of iron and pipe and make a mount.  No one sees it anyway. So does not have to look perfect!

If no bracket comes up I will consider under the seat and making a bracket. I still have to figure out an antenna as well. What all noise filters were used with the IS CB? Did those filters come with the CB kit or where they on the IS already?

Pretty sure my second cb unit mounting brackets are complete but missing the required spacers. I'll be home in a couple of days to verify that for you.

The radiator fan noise filter should come with the cb kit. It goes behind the right side steering neck cover. It's a simple 2 pin connector. You simply open the existing connection and install the noise filter in series. I guess it's supposed to keep the radiator fan from messing up the signal. The two I've seen were the same so I think Honda may have only made one style. I have no clue how to make one if your cb kit didn't come with one.

Not real clear if that is the antenna mount, or the radio mount, is it?

I sent an email to clarify. If its the antenna mount I said I would take it. I needed that as well.

I THINK it's the antenna mount based on the listing title. However, I can see that the person might mean the bracket that holds the CB unit.
