Bring It..LET'S RIDE..GOD'S Country east Tennessee

« on: August 27, 2010, 10:26:34 PM »

Paul ( Wimp ) and I rode up to Deal's Gap today and hooked up with Thumper. It was a beautiful day in the Tennessee / North Carolina mountains today. I saw this Boss Hoss at Deal's Gap that caught my eye.... I'd like to have one of these 502's .

We got in two great runs at The Dragon however when we got back to the over-look on the Tennessee side Blount County had a motorcycle cop ready to work  Sad

As you can see in the photo above the area around Calderwood Dam is on fire. The fire was caused by a lightning strike last tuesday they are going to let it burn out on its own the fireman we talked to claimed the fire was a good thing to get some of the undergrowth  Undecided

Thumper at a bridge to nowhere....Keep my friend in your thoughts and prayers as he goes into his fifth year of fighting the cancer in his body tooth and nail. This last round of chemo has been the hardest on him but he still wants to ride like the wind. We did the Tennessee and North Carolina mountains today , tomorrow we head for the Kentucky mountains.

Smokinjoe, I don't know if you could stand the boss hoss since you couldn't make a turn without severly scrapping.  Just saying.
Interesting concept though to put a big V8 car motor in a cycle.

Great ride report as usual.  Keeping Thumper in my prayers.  Lost a brother-in-law a couple years ago to pancreatic cancer.  Glad Thumper can get in the wind!
