I have a 97' Valkyrie that I purchase in Sept. It has the factory tires and are about ready for some new rubber. These tire have about 6K on them and would like to have something that gets a few more miles and better traction. Any suggestions from the group ?

I like the dunlops on my 01 I/S.
Will get 12 to 14 thousand out of them with 38/40 psi front and 40/42 psi rear. This is the elites now.

I have the Avon  Venom on the back of my bike and I like it
more than my  last Dunlop.  I am looking for this spring when
I change the front tire of the bike for the Avon . I have a good
expectation for having both of them.
