What about a motel to meet up at south of Chicago?  How about the Super 8 in Hebron, IN? Leave there Sat 9:00 AM?

You want IS's, or major two lane roads?  How about getting past Louisville, KY on Sat, then into Maggie Valley Sunday?    How about Super 8, at Danville, KY,   SE of Louisville, for Sat night?

It is 335 miles from Hebron, IN.

It is then 245 miles from Danville, IN to Maggie Valley. Leave Danville Sunday AM, to get to Maggie Valley early afternoon on Sunday?

If OK, I will post the motel info to make reservations.  If not, please post alternative route.

Have not got that far yet into planning.  Do you have any good ideas about a scenic route to take?  Are you going to be joining us?  Would be great.

I will plan on getting to Hebron, IN fairly early in the afternoon of Friday.

Friday night, July 15th

Super 8,  3423 East State Road 2, Hebron, IN
(219) 696-8888

Plan on leaving there 9AM Saturday.  Approx. 350 miles to Danville, KY, depending on route.

Saturday night, July 16

Super 8,  3663 Hwy 150/127 Bypass
Danville, KY 40422
(859) 236-8881

Leave 9AM Sunday.  Approx 250 miles to Maggie Valley, again depending on route.  May take a more backroad approach here.

If you know these areas, please PM me to suggest routes.  Looking for 2 lane, good roads, most of the time.  Will have to travel some sections of IS too.  Not toooo far out of the way, but scenic.

My whole route is:

home:                                 760 miles to:
Thur night:   LaCrosse, WI      338 miles to:
Fri night:      Hebron, IN         350 miles to:
Sat. night:    Danville, KY        250 miles to:
Sunday night: Maggie Valley, NC

Not 100% sure on the LaCrosse stop.  Will depend on who is going.  I may go farther south on my way to Hebron, IN.  If anyone is interested in joining in on the way to Hebron, let me know, and I can adjust the route accordingly.

Total of 1700+ miles, depending on out of route miles.

rough idea of the route, actual roads may vary, to take more two lane roads.  This is just a rough route.

MP, regarding La Crosse-

I'm 95% sure I'll be leaving from Madison, WI, so I could meet you outside of Madison on your way through or just meet you in IN.

Well, meeting up with us and riding a ways would be great.  It is always nice for everyone to put a face and person behind a name on the board.

We will stay in touch.  Bring some of those other WI area riders with you!

No plans at all yet.  Figured to play that by ear, depending on what any others may want to do on the way back.
