Somewhere over the rainbow....

« on: February 07, 2011, 12:33:06 PM »

Question for all you gear heads out there. I have a dynojet kit that I haven't put on my valk yet. The only mod to the engine would be a K&N air filter. I have no issues with the way it runs and no problems. My fuel economy (oxymoron) seems normal for a valk. I guess my question is:
1) How difficult is it to properly install dynojets?
2) Does it even make sense?
3) Does it require removing the carb bank? (I've done that about 15 times, not hard, just time consuming).
I guess if I thought the benefits would be favorable I'd probably go ahead and do it before the season gets into full swing. Your advice is appreciated.
Thanks,

I've put Dial-A-Jet's on my I/S - and got great improvement in throttle response, doesn't lean-out when rolling on at high speeds (like when passing), and it gets better MPG!

So I'd say it's worth the effort. Grin

If you're talking about something else, then I can't say....
