Oss, totally depends on my funds this summer. If I've got the money for gas, I'd be glad to stop by your place on the way down to Maggie Valley. I'll keep you posted.

Wow that is one heck of a detour Eric   Would be real happy to put you up for a while before leaving or anytime at all you are always welcome at Rogers national park here in Ossining.  The pool will be open in May (if it ever stops snowing) the hot tub is open year round  just bring a Valker sized bathing suit with you or we have a Wallmart not so far away  cool

Lets hope that peace comes to the middle east and the oil producing dictatorships and the price of gas gets below 3 bucks a gallon real soon

Turnboy you think I ride slow now just wait and see how slow I can ride if gas hits 5 bucks   tongue

Taz  I think novavalker who came down with me once is in afghanistan now  Hope he stays safe and all our armed forces and support staff as well. We cant forget them serving for us.

Have not heard from John or Paulxx in a while

Bonnie took the pic below from over my right shoulder riding north from silverton to ouray on the million dollar highway. Honestly I dont remember much I was so tired (all your fault taz you devil) by then except no guard rails and B I G drop offs and trucks in the turns going the other way  Maybe its good I dont remember much lol

I'll see how the money and price of gas is then and let you know. Never too far for a friend!

Oh gosh Oss, that last time in Montrose area south and north of there was great.  The best part was when we were heading North to the Glen Rivers Springs for our tubing ride and picked up those slow poke CM riders that said they knew the way and I told them in so many words we needed to hustle to get there....last time I let someone else lead a ride when we need to push it.....They thought we were on some joy ride of sorts and I held back for a few minutes and then decided they were in la la land and bolted down the road with a few in tow behind me so I could tell the place we were on the way.  Now that was fun running the interstate at about 100...well not quite that high but.....and at the end the trip got canceled due to a big accident on the interstate after we sweat to death in that school bus...but it did make a good story for later years.....the ice cream stop was most excellent though, really hit the spot after we lost about 10lbs on the bus...  You kept up somewhat and I was proud of you....now thats going back a couple of years.....do ya still have it in ya?Huh?  LOL

Good times for sure, dont recommend the sweat on the bus diet though   shocked

Yep the wife was not amused at running the bike at 100 for so long but she will admit the breeze was ok at that speed  GAWD it was hot even when we returned at the end of the day it was triple digit heat.... but a dry heat  Tongue

If you would have woken up and been ready to leave at 9 we wouldn't have had to run so hard lol  As it was we all had to make up over an hour or so by the time we got the CMA crew in line at that rest stop      Remember whose bike broke the petcock  was it uncle larry?

Thats what I meant by Taz the devil  you can sure make a dent in the keg my friend I can not keep up with you  maybe TrickyDick and Challenger are the only ones who can, and of course smokinjoe I have watched him do some impressive work down in Tennessee with the southern riders, and they have this stuff they drink outa mason jars that will plumb knock your socks off

pic is the nice cma couple, me and frank and mona  Think they are in Utah now?

next is getting gas on the way home from Silverton on one of the best roads in the world 550 the million dollar highway

next one is attempting to run triple digits with you on that trip to Glenwood Canyon from Montrose

and then our friend Dan and you at the picnic.  Glad to see Davie just posted yesterday. Hope to see you again this summer with Lloyd and Andy

Ozz
Thanks for ths picture of Dan and Taz.  I am thinking about Maggie Valley.  Problem is I am the action officer to close my building at Ft Monmouth, which is closing and moving to Md. I am not going but may not be able to come.  Will see.  I can find my way by my self.  Still have the truck, trailer and two Valks.  Miss you all.

Good to hear from you, Davie.  If you can make it, it would be great!  If not, I understand.

Take care.
