We put a sheepskin seat cover on our Valk two years ago and like it very much.  My wife really really likes it and it definatly is cooler in the summer and warmer on those chilly days of riding in the spring and fall.  It sure is nice when the sun is beating down on your seat and when you get on it, it is comfortable to sit on.  I would highly recommend them.  We bought ours at Wild Things Fur in Rockton Wisconsin and after doing some research on them, they have some of the best prices and have great quality items.  They even fit it to your bike while you wait.  If it helps, their website is www.wildthingsfur.com   Good luck!

thanks Dave for the link to their website.  Darn, I was just at wildcat mountain state park 1 month ago walking around.  Guess I will have to take the bike their with the misses and wait for them to custom fit my Valk I/S seat.  For those who have the black sheepskin seat cover, do you prefer or recommend the short or long nap?  I would think the short nap would be better?  Oops, almost forgot, what about fitment in front being too tight not fitting since some like me have an iron horse leather tank bib that fits very snug when the front part of my stock seat is locked into position?

Ours is the black cover with the longer nap and we have had no problems with it at all.  I think they recommend every once in a while you just brush it out with a dog brush.  I think I might have done that a couple of times so far, but it seems to stay pretty good. I haven't tried the short nap ones, so I can't comment on those.  I am sure they can help you answer some questions at Wild Things about which way to go.
